Nest recently joined Google’s hardware division and now Google has announced that it is releasing a software update for its Nest Cam IQ and the device will be the first security camera to come with Google Assistant built in.
The new Google Assistant feature is coming to all existing Nest Cam IQ devices as a software update and it can be enabled from the Nest Cam app on your smartphone.
In order to enable the Google Assistant feature on your Nest Cam you need to go to Settings > Add Google Assistant.
Nest also announced that they are launching a new 5 day subscription plan that will cost just $5 a month. Like the other plans this will keep your recorded video history for a period of 5 days. The other plans available include a $10 a month plan which gives you 10 days of video history and a $30 a month plan.
