A new Pico pocket projector as launched via Kickstarter this week with the aim of raising £40,000 over the next 35 days. The Nebra AnyBeam has been designed to provide users with the smallest pocket cinema projector available, allowing a crystal clear picture to be projected onto any flat surface.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the pocket projector which is now available from £189 to early bird backers, with worldwide shipping expected to take place during August 2019. The laser technology incorporated into the pocket projector and designed by the development team at AnyBeam, is super-efficient and does not generate excessive amounts of heat, like some older projectors, say its creators.
“Whether it’s watching a film al-fresco with friends, delivering a presentation on the fly or bringing your ideas to the big screen – AnyBeam is the answer. And where traditional projectors would get hot and noisy, this laser projector is fanless, noiseless and you will never need to replace the bulb. This is a standalone device that you can plug into your smartphone, Fire TV stick, Chromecast etc. and start streaming your content!”
“Are you a makers or tinkerer? Want to play around with the Nebra AnyBeam technology and embed it into your own project or even design your own fancy case? Then the developer kit is for you! It’s the ‘barebones’ version – but this kit has the same internal components as the flagship AnyBeam unit (minus the 1 Watt speaker) except for the fact you can take the clear case apart. Neat!”
