Motorola has just announced that the Motorola Xoom WiFi will be available in the US from the 27th of March for $599, and it will be available from a number of retailers in the US which include Amazon, Best Buy, Costco, Radio Shack and Sams Club.
The Motorola Xoom WiFi comes with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also features a 2 megapixel camera on the front and a five megapixel camera on the back.
“MOTOROLA XOOM is a truly innovative tablet – its design, coupled with being the first tablet to have Android 3.0, results in a user experience that is one-of-a-kind,” said Dan Papalia, vice president of retail sales for Motorola Mobility. “We are now continuing to expand the choices available to consumers with the MOTOROLA XOOM Wi-Fi to be available soon from numerous leading retailers in the United States.”
Other features on the Motorola Xoom include a dual core 1GHz processor, the ability to playback Full HD video in 1080p, HDMI out, an accelerometer, a barometer, a compass and a gyroscope.
