It looks like Motorola are working on a second generation Droid X smartphone, the Motorola Droid X2, which according to the guys over at Hot Hardware, will come with an impressive range of specifications.
It looks like the Motorola Droid X will feature a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and it will have the same size display as the original Droid X at 4.3 inches, although it looks like the resolution will be bumped up to 540 x 960 pixels.
Other specifications include USB 2.0, HDMI, DNLA and an eight megapixel camera which will be capable of recording HD video in 720p, there will also be a microSD card slot.
There are no details a yet on when the Motorola Droid X2 will be available, but it looks like it will be available on Vierizon Wireless, and it will reportedly ship with Android 2.2 rather than Android 2.3, which could indicate that it will be launching sooner rather than later.
