Motorola Droid Turbo has been leaked on a number of occasions on the past few weeks. The handset was spotted in benchmarks, revealing monstrous specifications.
Recently, Verizon’s DroidLanding Twitter account posted a teaser image of the alleged Droid Turbo, with a red paint job. The image looks quite similar to the one we spotted a few days back, showing the back cover of the smartphone.
What’s even more surprising it that the image has been removed, and it appears it was accidentally posted ahead of its planned time. Nonetheless, it did confirm the back design of the alleged device.
The purported handset is expected to come with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, with a quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset, and Adreno 330 GPU. The Motorola Droid Turbo will reportedly feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 21Mp rear camera for photos and videos, a 2MP front-facing camera, a massive and should ship with Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system. IT will also reportedly come with support for Motorola’s Turbo charger, which can offer fast charging for the handset.
There’s no official word from Motorola or Verizon about its launch, but it shouldn’t be too long before the handset goes on sale, considering the pace at which the leaks are showing up. We’ll update you as soon as the handset is official.
