Motorola has confirmed that a number of their Android devices will be getting updated top Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and the new comes from a Motorola employee on their support forums.
The device listed to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread include the Motorola Droid X, Droid Pro, Droid 2 and the Droid 2 Global, and the update is expected to be released before the end of the second quarter, which we presume would be the end of June.
The Gingerbread (GB) software update will include improved Exchange Activesync functionality.
