Motorola’s latest Google Android smartphone, the Motorola Backflip is now available on mobile phone network AT&T in the US.
The Motorola Backflip features a 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display, it comes with Google Android 1.5, which will be upgraded to Google Android 2.1, and it also comes with Motorola’ MotoBlur user interface.
Other specifications include a reverse flip QWERTY keyboard, plus a five megapixel camera which features a built in LED flash and an auto focus function, plus 3G 850/1900/2100 quad band GSM, HSDPA connectivity as well as 802.11b/g WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.
The Motorola Backflip comes with Yahoo Search, instead of Google search and it is now available for $99 from AT&T after a $100 mail in rebate on a new two year contract.
