HTC is said to be working on a new tablet in collaboration with Google, and will come under the Nexus brand. Rumors suggest it will be known as Nexus 9, and we’ve seen several leaks hinting at what to expect from the alleged tablet.
Recently, the new leaked @upleaks revealed some information about the availability of the Nexus 9 tablet, also known as HTC T1/Flounder/Volantis, along with the accessories which will come with it.
The leaker revealed the WiFi version of the alleged tablet will hit so many countries, including Japan and Korea. This could mean that we may see a wider roll out this, and not just a few limited countries. He also mentioned that it will also come in LTE flavors, and will be available in Europe, Russia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Hong Kong — that’s a long list I must say.
HTC Nexus 9 will be accompanied by a number of accessories as well. “HTC T1 accessories; Magic Cover Leather(Natural/Black), Magic Cover TPU(Coral Amethyst/Mint Indigo/Lime Stone/Indigo Black), Keyboard Folio,” said @upleaks.
HTC Nexus 9 is said to come with a 8.9-inch display with a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, a Tegra K1 processor, 3/4GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, 8MP camera with optical image stabilization, and should come with Android 5.0 L as its operating system out of the box.
The same tipster mentioned that HTC Nexus 9 will see the light of the day before October 9th, but we’ve yet to come across any official word from HTC or Google. So, let’s just take this with an appropriate amount of salt. We’ll update you if we get any other information.
