A new application and next generation fitness tracker called Moov has been created to transform Apple’s Siri personal assistant into your very own personal trainer and provide you with motivation and real-time coaching.
The Moov fitness tracker consists of a wrist worn device together with a companion application both of which have been designed by former Apple engineer Nikola Hu. Watch the video after the jump to see Moov in action using Siri’s voice to motivate and coach.
The Moov fitness tracker is equipped with 9-axis sensors :accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, which it uses to track your motion and evaluate your form and connects to your device using Bluetooth connectivity.
Moov is also waterproof up to1 meter and rated IP67 allowing it to be used when you swim to enable you to swim faster over time by analysing your strokes for you and providing feedback. The Moov fitness tracker can also track your running and punches to provide both tracking and feedback and as well as coaching.
