Mokai has this developed a new design for their motorised Kayak in the form of the Mokai ES-Kape, which has been designed using a three-piece modular construction to make it easy to transport when required.
The Mokai ES-Kape has been designed to be lightweight durable, easy to transport, environmentally friendly and can be assembled in less than 2 minutes without any tools. Watch the video after the jump to learn more.
The Mokai ES-Kape is steered using a deck mounted joy stick control that offers an ergonomic and easy to use operation and all electronics on the Mokai ES-Kape are built to a NEMA 4 and IP65 to IP68 rating. Mokai explains a little more.
“The Mokai ES-Kape now has a 3 piece modular design. This new feature gives owners the option to keep it as a single monocoque or nest it together for easy transport and storage. When nested together, you can easily transport your Mokai inside a full size SUV or up to 4 in a standard pickup truck. Seperate sections also allow for quick and easy cleaning.”
“The bow and cockpit sections attach using a spring loaded pin and spool design. While the stern section attaches with an alignment pin and threaded clamp mechanism. Our unique design aligns precision machined anodized aluminum bulkheads resulting in a structurally sound connection that aligns perfectly every time.”
