A unique lighting system has been created by PhotonLab in the form of Element, offering a modular lighting system that can be controlled any number of different ways including gestures, voice reactive music, motion and more. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the Kickstarter project which is already raised over $150,000 thanks to nearly 1,000 backers with still 23 days remaining on its campaign.
Supplied with a smartphone companion application available for both Android and iOS devices the modular lighting system can be set up in less than three minutes using a unique pin-joint plug. The system also offers multiple interactive modes :
– Paint your wall with your hand: When each panel detects your hand within its sensor range, it will start to shift its colour through the entire RGB colour wheel. When you decide which colour you want each panel to display, simply remove your hand over that light panel and it will stay in that colour.
– Turn on/off: Hover over the panel to turn it on/off to the colour that you set on the app.
– Change themes: Hover over the panel to change it to the theme that you want.
– Adjust brightness: Change the distance between your hand and the light panel to change its brightness.
– More interactive modes will be updated in the app
Pledges are available from $80 for early bird backers with worldwide delivery expected to take place during July 2019.
