Apple recently announced its pricing plans for its new iCloud service, which will replace Apple’s MobileMe service, and new users of the iCloud service will get 5GB of storage for free.
If you want to purchase additional storage for iCloud, an extra 20GB of storage will cost you $40 per year, good news for existing MobileMe users, as they will get the extra 20GB of storage for free if they migrate their MobileMe account to iCloud.
Of course they wont get the storage for ever, and they will get the free storage until June 2012, after this previous MobileMe users will have to pay Apple the $40 per year like everyone else.
