We have tested a number of external battery cases for both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, today we are going to look at the latest one from MiLi, the MiLi Power Spring.
The MiLi Power Spring features a similar design to the MiLi Power Skin battery case that we reviewed before on Geeky Gadgets, although this new version offers more protection for your iPhone as the top of the iPhone is enclosed in the case, which offers better protection from knocks and bumps.
As with the previous MiLi case we tested, the Power Spring is nice and thin and doesn’t add too much weight to your iPhone, according to the manufacturer it is ‘the worlds thinnest iPhone battery case’, it is definitely the thinnest we have seen to date.
Battery wise the Power Spring features a 1200mAh battery, which will give you up to 230 hours of standby time on the iPhone 3G or 3GS. Talk time comes in at 3.9 hours on 3G and internet is also 3.9 hours on 3G.
The Power Spring will give you up to 19 hours of audio playback and up to 5.4 hours of video playback. Overall the battery case works very well, I have been testing it over the last week and it is very useful for adding extra power to your iPhone.
The MiLi Power Spring is one of the best designed iPhone battery cases we have seen so far, offering more protection than some of the previous models we have
The MiLi Power Spring is available for £49.99 about $72 from Power Skin.
