Microsoft has announced that their Microsoft Surface RT will be launching in an additional six countries this month, and the list includes Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan.
Microsoft also revealed the the Surface Pro will also be launching in other countries in the coming months, which includes Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, although they did not give a specific launch date.
“We are eager to see people and businesses in more countries get a chance to experience this new category of devices,” said Panos Panay, corporate vice president, Microsoft Surface. “Surface is the best of a tablet and a PC.”
The Microsoft Surface RT is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor and comes with 2GB of RAM, there is also a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of built in storage and two 720p cameras.
