Earlier this week Microsoft unveiled their new next generation Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet to the world. During the event on Monday the new Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet was demonstrated playing 6K video streamed directly from a RED Camera.
To re-cap the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is priced starting at $899 and equipped with a Core i5 Haswell 4th generation Dual Core i5-4200U processor clocked at 1.6GHz with a choice between 4GB or 8GB of RAM.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is fitted with a 10.6-inch ClearType full HD display and storage starts at 64Gb for $899 rising to $1799 for supported by 512GB of storage via a solid state disk (SSD).
The cheaper Microsoft Surface 2 will ship with Windows RT 8.1 OS out of the box bringing several improvements to the operating system such as personalisation, search, multitasking, built-in apps, and more.
The Microsoft Surface 2 is now available to pre-orders for $449 for the 32GB while the 64GB version comes with a $499 price tag.
