It’s been a while since Meizu’s powerhouse, the MX4 Pro, went on sale in China carrying top-of-the-line specifications.
However, it seems the handset may soon expand to other markets where Meizu operates. Recently, the Meizu MX4 Pro was approved by Malaysia’s SIRIM, hinting at its launch in the country very soon.
Meizu recently confirmed that the handset will go on sale in the region sometime in February, and will carry a RM1,499 (almost $415) for the 16GB model, which is a decent price for such a handset.
Meizu MX4 Pro comes with an impressive 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1536 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, with processing power coming from a Exynos 5 Octa 5430 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The handset is available in multiple storage configuration — 16/32/64GB — but there’s no word if higher storage options will hit retail in the country.
The device also boasts a monstrous 20.7MP camera with dual-LED flash, a 5MP front-facing camera, a massive 3,350 mAh battery and ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Flyme 4.0 on top of it.
There’s no official availability date available for Malaysia at the moment, but we’ll update you as soon as it’s announced. Anyone planning to pick up the Meizu MX4 Pro when it launches in Malaysia?
