Rockstar Games has this week revealed a few more details and dates with regards to the rollout of their new DLC content for their Max Payne 3 game, that will be rolling out over the next few months.
The press release from Rockstar Games this week has revealed that the highly anticipated Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack will now be available to PC gamers worldwide on August 9th. Adding three new maps for Max Payne 3 multiplayer games to enjoy, in the form of Imperial Palace, Departure Lounge, and 55th Battalion HQ. These maps are designed to provide a variety of environments and challenges, enhancing the multiplayer experience with new strategic elements and visual aesthetics.
Details of the Local Justice Pack
The Max Payne 3 Local Justice Pack will cost $5.99 for the first week, and then $7.99 after that. This pack not only includes the three new maps but also introduces a new weapon, the M4 Assault Rifle, and a new item, the Light Fingers Item, which allows players to loot bodies faster. Additionally, the pack includes a new multiplayer faction, the São Paulo Police, adding more depth and variety to the multiplayer gameplay.
Also from today, the Max Payne 3 Special Edition Pack is available for Xbox 360 for 160 MSFT Points and on PlayStation 3 for $1.99. This pack includes special edition content that was previously only available to those who purchased the Special Edition of the game, such as the Classic Max Payne Multiplayer Character and the Disorderly Conduct Multiplayer Weapons Pack.
Upcoming DLC Packs
During September, the “Hostage Negotiation” map pack will arrive, bringing with it new maps and multiplayer content. This pack is expected to introduce new scenarios and challenges, focusing on intense hostage rescue missions that will test players’ tactical skills and teamwork.
In October, the “Painful Memories” and “Deathmatch Made in Heaven” packs will launch. However, Take-Two Interactive explained that this figure was lower than anticipated.
