If like me you sometimes misplace your smartphone you might be interested in a new iOS application that has launched this week called Marco Polo.
The Marco Polo iOS application has been specifically designed to help you locate your lost iPhone by simply shouting Marco, with your smartphone responding by playing Polo, offering 30 unique Polo voice recordings to choose from to alert you of its location.
As you might have already guessed the Marco Polo iOS application has taken inspiration from the children’s game of the same name, and runs silently in the background on your iPhone, never disturbing you until you require it to help find your iPhone.
“Marco Polo works with just your voice and completely offline (no Wi-Fi or cellular needed). The app will listen across multiple rooms, even multiple levels in your home, and will override silent mode so you can find your device no matter what.
The Marco Polo app will help you quickly find your device in just one shout. Just shout out loud “MARCO!” and your hidden device will ring back POLO! so that you can find it.”
The new Marco Polo iOS application is now available to download from the for $0.99 and does not require any wireless or cellular connectivity to function correctly or store your commands.
