A new update has been rolled out today by Mad Catz for their M.O.J.O. Android gaming console that has brought with it a number of great new features and enhancements to the £180 gaming console.
The latest Mad Catz M.O.J.O. update has now added support for 4K Ultra HD playback. Once the new firmware is installed it enables your Android console to support 4K UHD for you to enjoy 2160p resolutions gaming and viewing.
As well as 4K support Mad Catz have also added instant access to the OUYA app enabling owners access to hundreds of games from the Ouya library, many of which have been configured to work perfectly with M.O.J.O.’s C.T.R.L.R gamepad.
“In the world of gaming, few things shout ‘Independence!’ more than M.O.J.O., Mad Catz’ remarkable Micro-Console powered by Android. We bring the technology; you bring the ideas.
Since M.O.J.O. isn’t tied to a particular app store or interface, you have the freedom to play whatever you want, wherever you want, for gaming, media, office apps and more!Remember, M.O.J.O. is open platform so if you want to root your console, go ahead; it won’t void your warranty”
In a previous article published yesterday we revealed that Ouya had also started trailing a new Ouya All Access subscription service, that enabled owners to access 800+ games for an annual cost of just $60. Unfortunately the trail offered a limited number of places and the first batch of subscriptions has now been sold out.
