Logitech has unveiled a new mobile speaker designed to make it easy to share your music without using headphones. The speaker is called the X300 and it has Bluetooth integrated with a 30-foot wireless range. For devices that lack Bluetooth, Logitech also equipped it with a 3.5mm input for audio playback.
For a wider sound stage, Logitech uses multiple drivers at different angles for an improved sound spectrum. Power for the speaker comes from an internal rechargeable battery good for five hours of playback per charge. Logitech designed the X300 to act as a speakerphone with the ability to adjust volume and manage phone calls with the tap of a finger.
The X300 measure 5.9″ L x 2.8″ W x 2.7″ H and weighs in at 12.5 ounces. To support speakerphone calls the smartphone has to support Bluetooth profile HFP1.6. Multiple colors are available including black, red, blue and purple. In addition to being used for movie playback, the X300 can also be used to give better sound with your favorite movies and video. Logitech is shipping the X300 now for $69.99. Charging of the internal battery is performance via micro USB port.
