Earlier this month LG announced their new Android Oreo beta program for their LG V30 smartphone. The company started taking registrations for the software in South Korea earlier this month.
Now it would appear that LG has released their Android Oreo beta software for their V30 smartphone in South Korea. The software is now available to download in South Korea for people who have signed up to the program.
If you haven’t signed up for the program yet and want to try the software out, you can do this with the quick help app on your handset. Inside the app there is an LG OS Preview banner which you can use to sign up.
The Android 8.0 Oreo beta is only available in South Korea at the moment, LG is not expected to make it available in more countries as the update is coming some time next month. LG announced previously that the LG V30 will get the Android Oreo update in South Korea in December. The company is also expected to release it in the US and the UK at the same time. As soon as we get some details on when it will land, we will let you guys know.
