We first saw some photos of the new LG Optimus Exceed 2 back in March, the handset is now available from Verizon Wireless on a pre-paid basis without a contract for $79.99.
The LG Optimus Exceed 2 is Verizon’s version of the LG L70, and the handset comes with a 4.5 inch WVGA display that has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Under the hood of the LG Optimus Exceed 2 is a dual core 1.2Ghz processor, the handset is also equipped with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage, if you need more storage, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion.
Other specifications on the Exceed 2 include front and rear facing cameras, on the front there is a VGA camera for video calls, on the back there is a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash.
The Optimus Exceed 2 comes with Android 4.4 Kit Kat and LG’s KnockCode, the handset is now available from the carrier, and you can find out more information over at Verizon.
