We previously heard that the new LG G4 Note would possibly launch on the 10th of October and now it looks like the handset may be announced at a press event on the 1st of October.
LG has sent out press invites to an event which will take place on the 1st of October, although the company has not revealed what will be announced at the event.
Expected Upgrades and Features
The new LG G4 Note is expected to get a number of upgrades over the G4. The handset is rumored to come with a larger display and a faster processor. While specific details about the display size and processor type have not been disclosed, industry insiders suggest that the G4 Note could feature a 5.7-inch QHD display and a Snapdragon 810 processor. This would make it a significant upgrade over the G4, which features a 5.5-inch display and a Snapdragon 808 processor.
In addition to the display and processor, the G4 Note is also expected to come with enhanced RAM and storage options. Rumors indicate that the device could offer up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, with the possibility of expandable storage via a microSD card slot. This would make the G4 Note a powerhouse in terms of performance and multitasking capabilities.
Camera Enhancements
The cameras on the handset are also expected to get an upgrade. The LG G4 was well-received for its 16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, which allowed for excellent low-light photography. The G4 Note is rumored to take this a step further with a 20-megapixel rear camera and improved optical image stabilization (OIS). This would make it one of the best smartphones for photography enthusiasts.
On the front, the G4 Note is expected to feature an 8-megapixel camera, up from the 8-megapixel front camera on the G4. This upgrade would make it ideal for selfies and video calls, offering clearer and more detailed images.
Software and Additional Features
The LG G4 Note is expected to run on the latest version of Android, likely Android 6.0 Marshmallow, out of the box. This would bring a host of new features and improvements, including better battery management, enhanced app permissions, and Google Now on Tap.
In terms of additional features, the G4 Note is rumored to include a stylus, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note series. This would make it a strong competitor in the phablet market, appealing to users who need a device for productivity and creative tasks. The stylus is expected to come with advanced features such as pressure sensitivity and customizable shortcuts, making it a versatile tool for various applications.
Design and Build Quality
While not much has been revealed about the design of the G4 Note, it is expected to follow the premium build quality of the G4. This could include a leather back option, as well as a metal frame for added durability. The device is also expected to be slightly thicker than the G4, likely to accommodate the larger battery and additional hardware.
As soon as we get some more details on this new smartphone from LG, including some pictures of the handset, we will let you guys know. The anticipation for the LG G4 Note is building, and it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against other flagship devices in the market.
