LG G2 is one of the best Android smartphones available in the market at the moment. It has become a norm for every OEM to launch a mini version of their flagship devices. Samsung launched a bunch of mini as well as HTC. But, the problem with them is they downgrade the specifications which differs a lot when compared with the original handset. Sony is also said to be working on a Sony Xperia Z1 Mini for global markets, which will hit Japan on December 19th as Sony Xperia Z1f. Now, a new report suggest that LG is also working on a miniature version of its LG G2 and best of all, it will carry the same specs as its big brother packed inside a smaller body.
LG G2 Mini is rumored to come with a 4.7-inch display, but there’s no information of the screen resolution — it could either be 720p or 1080p. Other than that, the handset comes with 2GB RAM and the same Snapdragon 800 processor.
Additionally, it will launch under a different name then LG G2 and is expected to make an official appearance at CES 2014 in January. Obviously, this is not a confirmed news so a little bit of salt is required to digest this rumor. CES 2014 will take place next month in Las Vegas, and we’ll find out how much truth lies in it. Stay tuned.
