The LG G2 is LG’s latest flagship Android smartphone, the handset is expected to be made official at an LG press event on the 7th of August, and now the device has appeared in the AnTuTu Benchmarks.
The LG G2 scored 29,909 in the AnTuTu benchmarks, which would make the handset one of the fastest Android smartphones when it is made official next week.
So far we have heard that the LG G2 will be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and will also feature an Adreno 330 GPU, it will come with 2GB of RAM.
Display and Design
The LG G2 is expected to be the first smartphone to use LG’s new ultra thin 5.2 inch full HD LCD display that will come with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This display is not only larger than many of its competitors but also boasts a higher pixel density, ensuring that images and videos appear incredibly sharp and vibrant. The ultra-thin design of the display is expected to make the device more comfortable to hold and use, despite its larger screen size.
Camera and Software
Other specifications on the handset will include a 13 megapixel camera, which is expected to feature advanced optics and image stabilization technology to ensure high-quality photos and videos. The camera is likely to support various shooting modes and features, such as HDR, panorama, and possibly even 4K video recording, making it a versatile tool for photography enthusiasts.
The LG G2 will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which, while not the latest version of Android, is still a robust and feature-rich operating system. It will come with LG’s custom user interface, which is expected to include several unique features and enhancements to improve the user experience. One of the most talked-about features is the touch controls on the back of the handset, which could offer a new way to interact with the device, potentially making it easier to use with one hand.
Battery Life and Connectivity
Battery life is always a critical factor for smartphone users, and the LG G2 is rumored to come with a substantial battery that should provide all-day usage on a single charge. The combination of the efficient Snapdragon 800 processor and the optimized software should help in maximizing battery performance.
In terms of connectivity, the LG G2 is expected to support a wide range of options, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. This will ensure that users can stay connected and enjoy fast data speeds, whether they are browsing the web, streaming videos, or downloading apps.
Additional Features
The LG G2 is also expected to come with a range of additional features that will set it apart from other smartphones on the market. These could include advanced audio capabilities, such as high-fidelity sound and noise-canceling microphones, as well as various sensors and tools for health and fitness tracking.
