We’ve seen rumors about the launch of the LG G Flex 2, a device which launched with a curved display last year, to launch in 2015.
According to a new rumor, citing people familiar with the matter, LG G Flex 2 is expected to see the light of the day at CES 2015 in January.
The details about the specifications and features of the device are scarce at the moment, but the report mentions it will be a major upgrade over its predecessor. The report further mentions the alleged LG G Flex 2 will feature a high resolution display packed inside a smaller body, which goes in line with some rumors we’ve heard in the past. Furthermore, the self healing coating on the back of the device will be present in an improved form as well.
Smartphones with curved displays may take some time to reach the market. Samsung recently launch a device with a curved display, but it’s nothing like the LG G Flex, but mere a curved display on one side of the handset offering extra controls and shortcuts.
CES 2015 is just around the corner and is set to kick off on January 6th in Las Vegas. We’ll keep our eyes on the rumor mill and will update you as soon as we come across anything interesting about the successor of the LG G Flex.
