We have already seen a few videos for Rovio Mobile’s latest Angry Birds game, Angry Birds Star Wars, and now Rovio has released another trailer which gives us a look at what the gameplay will be like.
Have a look at the video below, which gives us a really good look at some of the different levels that will be available in Angry Birds Star Wars. It certainly does look like a lot of fun.
Gameplay and Features
Angry Birds Star Wars combines the classic Angry Birds gameplay with the iconic characters and settings from the Star Wars universe. Players can expect to see their favorite birds dressed as characters like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and even Darth Vader. Each bird will have unique abilities that reflect their Star Wars counterparts, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.
The game features a variety of levels set in famous Star Wars locations such as Tatooine, the Death Star, and Hoth. Each level is designed to challenge players with new obstacles and enemies, including Stormtrooper pigs and other familiar Star Wars villains. The physics-based gameplay that made Angry Birds a hit is still present, but with added elements like lightsabers, blasters, and the Force.
Exciting New Additions
One of the most exciting additions to Angry Birds Star Wars is the inclusion of space levels, which were first introduced in Angry Birds Space. These levels take place in zero gravity, adding a unique twist to the traditional gameplay. Players will need to use gravitational fields to their advantage to defeat the piggy enemies and complete the levels.
Another notable feature is the ability to upgrade characters. As players progress through the game, they can unlock new abilities and power-ups for their birds, making them even more formidable against the piggy empire. This adds a layer of depth and replayability, as players can experiment with different strategies and character combinations.
Angry Birds Star Wars also includes a multiplayer mode, allowing players to compete against friends and other players worldwide. This mode features leaderboards and achievements, encouraging players to improve their skills and climb the ranks.
Angry Birds Star Wars will launch this Thursday on iOS and Android. As soon as we get some more details about the game, we will let you guys know.
