Google has released its latest Android Distribution figures and we are starting to see an increase in the uptake of Android Lollipop.
Android Lollipop is now on 3.3 percent of all Android devices, this is likely due to the amount of updates to Android Lollipop that manufacturers have released over the last month.
The last Android distribution figures we had shows that Lollipop was on 1.6 percent of devices, so adoption has doubled in the last month.
Android KitKat is on 40.9 percent of devices and Android Jelly Bean is on the largest percentage of smartphones and tablets with distribution of 42.6 percent, this is then followed buy Ice Cream Sandwich on 5.9 percent and Android Gingerbread on 6.9 percent, with Froyo on just 0.4 percent of devices.
There have been a number of manufacturers releasing the Android Lollipop updates recently and it will be interesting to see how things have changed next month.
