Lacie has this week unveiled its updated range of USB 3.0 external hard drives its developed which support the latest Ivy Bridge processors of Apple’s new MacBook systems.
LaCie has updated its entire USB 3.0 range to now include 2nd generation USB 3.0 products, which will be arriving in Apple stores and via Apple stores, LaCie resellers and the LaCie Online Store during the summer months of this year.
Erwan Girard, Professional Business Unit Manager, LaCie explains: “At LaCie we’re dedicated to USB 3.0. As a result, we’ve been able to deliver the widest range of USB 3.0 storage peripherals on the market,”-“We’ve leveraged the exhaustive expertise of demanding content creators to develop best in class products for Mac users. LaCie’s 2nd generation USB 3.0 products will exceed expectation and deliver the fastest, most seamless user experience available.”
The refresh to LaCie’s product line include upgrades for the Rugged Triple, Porsche Design P’9223 and P’9233, as well as the RuggedKey models. Which all now use USB Attached SCSI Protocol (UAS) providing users with the maximum data transfer speeds possible from systems running Apple’s Lion or Mountain Lion operating systems.
