Kyocera has launched a new washable smartphone in an attempt to cut down on germs on mobile phone, the Kyocera Digno Rafre.
The Kyocera Digno Rafre is waterproof and the idea is that you can wash the handset to get rid of any potential germs, smartphones can be a magnet for germs.
The device comes with a 5 inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it features2GB or RAM and 16GB of built in storage.
The Kyocera Digno Rafre also comes with a microSD card slot for expansion and it has a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera, the device comes with Android Nougat.
The Digno Rafre is launching in Japan with KDDI, as yet there are no details on pricing, it will be available in a range of colors which will include pink, blue and white.
