Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the unique ride of the KKA S1 skateboard. The KKA S1 has this week launched via Kickstarter with the aim of raising just over £7,300 over the next 60 days and is available to back with early bird pledges starting from £514 and shipping expected to take place during March 2018.
Features of the electric skateboard include a strong, yet light carbon fibre and magnesium alloy frame, four-wheel-drive system that provides both rear and double drive systems, a powerful 500W Hub DC Double Motor consisting of two 250w drive motors offering a max rotate speed of 1800rpm. When fully engaged the electric skateboard is capable of a maximum speed of 28mph and offers a 40-mile range thanks to its included 8.8Ahr rechargeable lithium battery. The electric skateboard is also equipped with an electronic Holzer brake and comes complete with its own mobile companion application allowing you to tweak your settings and monitor battery charge directly from your smartphone thanks to its integrated Bluetooth connectivity.
The electric skateboard is also equipped with larger and thicker tyres than a standard skateboard providing the KKA S1 with the ability to adapt faster to rough terrain and provide a much smoother journey when possible.
