Remember the JooJoo Tablet, which was due to ship at the end of last month? Well it looks like the former CrunchPad is now delayed until the 25th of March 2010, which would put its release date at a similar time to the new Apple iPad.
According to Fusion Garage, the delay in the JooJoo Tablet has been caused by a manufacturing issue, as there were problems with the 12.1 inch touchscreen display.
This can’t be good news for Fusion Garage, who are already facing legal acting from Michael Arrington, and now the delay in shipping means it will be launching at almost exactly the same time as Apple’s new iPad Tablet.
Although the JooJoo tablet has a larger screen than the Apple iPad, and it supports Flash, and is similarly priced, one thing it doesn’t have that the iPad does, is a large application store behind it, and this is one thing that could stop it from being a competitor for the iPad as users will want to use a tablet that has a wide variety of applications.
