Apple is expected to launch their new iPhone SE at a press event next month and now according to a recent report, the new iPhone will retail between $400 and $500.
The news comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who recently released a research not to investors.
Apple will apparently continue to sell the iPhone 5SE alongside the new iPhone SE and the iPhone 5S is rumored to get a 50 percent price cut, the handset currently retails for $450, so a price of around 50 percent would be around $225, which seems a little low.
The new iPhone SE is rumored to come with a 4 inch display and the device will be powered by an Apple A9 processor and will come with 2GB of RAM, the handset is expected to come with two storage options, 16GB and 64GB.
The device will get many features of the iPhone 6S, this will include the handsets cameras, up front there will be a 5 megapixel FaceTime camera and on the back a 12 megapixel iSight camera which will be capable of recording Ultra HD video in 4K.
The new smaller iPhone will come with iOS 9.3 and it will also get Apple Pay and 3D Touch, the handset is said to be made available in similar colors to the iPhone 6S, although there is a possibility of a bright pink version of the handset rather than Rose Gold.
Apple are said to be holding a press event on the 21st of March where they will announce their new iPhone SE and also a new 9.7 inch iPad Pro, the two devices are expected to launch in Apple stores in the same week.
