Previous rumors about the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus handsets have suggested that the design of Apple’s new iPhone will be similar to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.
Now some schematics have been leaked which are apparently of the new iPhone 7 Plus, these drawings were published in Japanese magazine MacFan.
The iPhone 7 Plus schematics show a very similar design to the iPhone 6S Plus and the device will have identical dimensions of 158.22mm x 77.94mm by 7.3mm.
This ties in with what we have heard previously about Apple’s new iPhones looking very similar to the iPhone 6S models.
Previous rumors have suggested that Apple’s new iPhones will come with a dual camera setup on the back, this is shown in the schematics above.
Apple are expected to get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack in this years iPhones, instead the Lightning port will be used for audio, this can also be seen in the schematics.
We are expecting Apple’s new iPhones to get a number of upgrades internally this year, this should include a new Apple A10 processor and more RAM than the current models.
Apple’s iPhone 6S handsets come with a range of storage from 16GB to 64GB, Apple recently launched their new iPad Pro with 256GB of storage and there is a possibility that this years iPhones could also get a 256GB storage option.
One thing we are hoping that Apple will update on this years iPhones is the screen resolution, the iPhone 6S has a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels and the 6S Plus has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, we hope Apple will make the iPhone 7 at least a Full HD display with 1080p and the iPhone 7 Plus a Quad HD display.
Apple are expected to launch this years iPhones some time in September, as soon as we get some more details about the handsets, we will let you guys know.
