Earlier today we heard about the new 1080p FaceTime HD camera on the iPhone 6S and 6S plus and now we could have some details on the iPhone 6S released date.
According to website Mobile News, they received an internal email from mobile carrier Vodafone that said that the iPhone 6S release date would be the 25th of September 2015.
The site goes on to say that Vodafone will start taking pre-orders of the iPhone 6S on the 18th of September, if these dates are correct then Apple could make the handset official around the 14th of 15th of September.
Apple’s new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are expected to feature the same design as the existing handsets, although the 6S is rumored to come with a 1080p display and the 6S Plus a Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The handsets are expected to come with a new Apple A9 processor and more RAM than the current handsets, they are also expected to come with a range of storage options from 16GB to 128GB.
We heard about the new 1080p FaceTime front camera with flash earlier today and the rear camera is also expected to get an update with a new 12 megapixel sensor supplied by Sony, both devices will come with iOS 9.
As soon as we get some more details that this is the correct iPhone 6S release date, we will let you guys know.
