Apple has now released the iPhone 4S, have a look at our iPhone 4S review, and also take a look at our article on the difference between the iPhone 4 and 4S.

Update:15th June 2010

Apple has now announced the official iPhone UK pricing, iPhone 4 UK SIM Free Prices, 16GB £499, 32GB £599.

When Apple announced the iPhone 4 in the US, they also released the pricing details. As usual those of us who live in the UK still have no official information from any of the networks in the UK on how much they are going to charge for the new iPhone 4.

Geeky Gadgets has contacted all of the five major networks in the UK, and a couple of them have told us that pricing for the iPhone 4 will be released on Monday, the rest wouldn’t give us any information, pre-ordering of the iPhone 4 starts on Tuesday the 15th of June 2010.

iPhone 4 UK Price To Be Announced On Monday

Personally we can’t see why it has taken so long, since the iPhone 4 was announced for them to tell us how much they are going to charge for the new iPhone, and it does lead us to wonder if the five networks have been talking to each other about how much to charge customers in the UK for the new iPhone 4.

Are the prices sets by Apple? Or do the networks have some movement on the pricing, we are hoping that because five different mobile networks will be selling the iPhone 4 in the UK that we will see different prices from them, and more competitive contracts, which would be great new for us, the consumer.

We have already seen that O2 have removed their unlimited data from their iPhone 4 plans, and heard a rumor that orange are about to do the same, we are hoping that Three will come out with a competitive deal, and suspect that they will offer the most data for your monthly fee, as they did with the iPad although we are not expecting this to be unlimited.

In the meantime check out our iPhone 4 UK price prediction for an idea of what we think the iPhone will cost in the UK and also our iPhone 4 UK buyers guide for full details of the five networks that will be selling the iPhone 4 in the UK.

Update: 14th June 2010
