Apple announced the new iPhone 5 yesterday, at the launch event we had the US pricing for the handset and now we have some information on the iPhone 5 UK price.
Apple has increased the price of the iPhone 5 over last years iPhone 4S handset, last year prices of the iPhone 4S started at £499, the 16GB iPhone 5 will now retail for £529 here in the UK.
Apple has not listed any pricing for the 32GB and 64GB models of the iPhone 5 on their website, but we presume each model will cost £100 more, so this would mean that the 32GB model would be £629 and the 64GB model would be £729, these prices have yet to be confirmed by Apple.
The prices above are for the SIM free version of the iPhone 5, we are waiting to hear from the various mobile carries on how much the iPhone 5 will cost on their various contracts.
The iPhone 5 will be available to pre-order from tomorrow the 14th of September from Apple’s online store and it will go on sale on Friday the 21st of September here in the UK.
