Not too long ago, Apple unveiled it’s latest tablet line up, including the all new iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3. The Cupertino company has started taking the pre-orders of the new tablets, but they didn’t mention an exact availability date, except that it will be available “next week.”
As per a new report from Trusted Reviews, Apple’s iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will launch on John Lewis on Wednesday, October 22nd.
The folks at John Lewis confirmed the launch date for both tablets. Unfortunately, the 4G LTE versions may launch a little late, but the WiFi models are launching in the region on October 22nd.
“We will start selling the new iPads in store on Wednesday,” Will Jones, a Tablets and Computing Buyer with John Lewis said. “I think the 4G versions might be a little bit behind that, but certainly the Wi-Fi-only models are launching on Wednesday, based on our current information.”
The iPad Air 2 comes with a slightly different design, an A8X processor, Touch ID sensor, and a number of storage configurations. Apple also added a new gold color option to its tablet line up, along with the usual space gray and silver models. The iPad Air 2 starts at £399, and goes as high as £659 for the 128GB cellular model.
Anyone planning to pick up the new iPad Air 2?
