Apple are expected to announce their new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 with Retina display, and we have previously heard that both tablets would come with the Apple A8 processor that launched with the iPhone 6.
We also heard some rumors that Apple were working on a new Apple A8X processor, which would launch with the 12.9 inch iPad Pro next year, although it looks like it may actually launch in the iPad Air 2.
A new photo has appeared online which appears to show the new Apple A8x processor, and this is said to launch in the iPad Air 2 when it is unveiled this week.
We are also expecting the iPad Air 2 to come with 2GB of RAM, and the device is also expected to launch with Apple’s TouchID fingerprint sensor.
We are also expecting Apple to make Apple Pay available on the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 with Retina Display, this is expected to be available in iOS 8.1 which is said to launch with the new iPads.
Apple are also rumored to unveil a number of other devices at their iPad event later this week, which will include a new Apple TV, new Mac Mini and possibly some Retina Display iMacs.
