The last thing we heard about the new 12.9 inch iPad Pro, was that the new larger iOS tablet will be launching in early 2015, and now it would appear that we have some more details about the device.
Apple recently launched their new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets, both devices come with the new Apple A8 processor, and the iPad Pro is rumored to come with an Apple A8X processor.
Apple have released ‘X’ versions of their processors in the past, basically these are improved versions of their original processor, like the A5X and the A6X.
Apple stopped doing this when they released the Apple A7 processor last year, and then this year they released another completely new processor in the form of the Apple A8.
It would make sense for Apple to us an Apple A8X processor in the new iPad Pro, especially if the device is expected to launch early in 2015.
The new processor will not be used in the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, instead these devices will apparently use the new Apple A8 that just launched.
Apple are rumored to launch the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 next month, we are no expecting to heard any details about the larger 12.9 inch iPad Pro until next year.
