The second beta of iOS 12.1 was released recently and now we have some comparison videos of iOS 12.1 Beta 2 vs iOS 12.
In the videos we get to see the current version of Apple’s iOS run side by side with the new beta on a number of devices, will there be any speed improvement? Lets find out with the iPhone 5S first up.
As we can see from the video the handset running the current iOS 12 software booted up slightly faster than the device with the new beta, it also appears to be slightly faster in the apps, next up is the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6 the handset with the new beta booted up slightly faster than the iPhone 6 with the iOS 12 installed, there does not appear to be any major difference between the two in the various apps, next is the iPhone 6S.
As we can see from the video the iPhone 6S running the new beta 2 booted up a couple of seconds faster than the iPhone running the current release, there is not much difference between the two in the apps, finally we have the iPhone 7.
With the iPhone 7 the handset running the new iOS 12.1 beta 2 booted up slightly faster, the two devices seem about the same in the apps. As we can see from the videos there are no major speed improvements in the new beta.
