Apple has now released their second beta of iOS 11.4 and now we have some videos comparing iOS 11.4 Beta 2 vs iOS 11.3. In the videos the two versions of Apple’s iOS are compared side by side on a number of different iPhones.
In the videos we get to see iOS 11.4 Beta 2 vs iOS 11.3 being run on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. First up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the video the handset running the iOS 11.4 beta 2 booted up slightly faster than the device running iOS 11.3, it also appears to be slightly faster in some of the apps, next is the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6 the device running the current iOS 11.3 release booted up faster than the handset running the new iOS 11.4 beta 2. The new beta does seem slightly faster in some of the apps. Next up is Apple’s iPhone 6S.
As we can see from the iPhone 6S video, the handset running the the iOS 11.3 software booted up slightly faster. There does not appear to be much difference between the two in the apps. Next is the iPhone 7.
With the iPhone 7 speed test the handset running the iOS 11.3 software booted up faster than the handset running the iOS 11.4 beta 2 software. The two versions of iOS appear to be about the same in the various apps, finally we have the iPhone 8.
As we can see in the video featuring the iPhone 8, the handset running the current iOS 11.3 booted up slightly faster. There does not appear to be any major difference between the two in the Apps. It looks like there are no major speed improvements in iOS 11.4 over iOS 11.3, although this may change by the time the final version is released.
