The new iOS 11.3 beta 5 has been released by Apple and now we have some iOS 11.3 Beta 5 vs iOS 11.2.6 speed test videos.
In the videos we get to see if there are any speed improvements with the latest beta. The software is tested out on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. First up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the video the iPhone 5S running the new iOS 11.3 beta 5 booted up slightly faster than the handset running iOS 11.2.6. The current release of iOS appears to be slightly faster in the apps. Next up is the iPhone 6.
In the video with the two iPhone 6 handsets, the one running the iOS 11.2.6 software booted up faster than the handset running the new beta. The current release also appears to be slightly faster in some of the apps. Next is the iPhone 6S.
As we can see from the video of the iPhone 6S the handset running the current iOS 11.2.6 booted up quicker. It also appears to be slightly faster in the apps. Next is the iPhone 7.
With the iPhone 7 the handset running the iOS 11.2.6 software also booted up faster than the handset running the new iOS 11.3 beta 5. There does not appear to be any major differences between the two iOS versions in the apps. Finally we have the iPhone 8.
In the final video with the iPhone 8 the handset running the new iOS 11.3 beta 5 booted up slightly faster than the device running the current release. There does not appear to be any major speed difference between the two in the various apps.
So it would appear that the new iOS 11.3 will not bring any major speed improvements to the iPhone. This many change by the time the final version is released. The software is expected to be released some time this month.
