As expected Intel has this week made available their new Intel Skull Canyon NUC mini PC which was unveiled back in the middle of March and have now put it up for preorder with prices starting from $650.
The Intel Skull Canyon mini PC is equipped with a Core i7-6770HQ quad-core processor that is supported by Intel Iris Pro 580 graphics all enclosed in a case that measures roughly 211 x 116 x 28mm in size.
The processor and graphics can be supported by up to 32GB of DDR4-2133 MHz memory and Intel have included 2 x M.2 slots for solid state disks (SSD) storage.Other features of the Intel Skull Canyon mini PC include connectivity via 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and Intel WiDi 6.0 wireless display technology. As well as HDMI 2.0 and a Thunderbolt 3/USB-C portand provide the ability to connect external graphics docking stations such as the new Razer Core, using the Thunderbolt port.
