Intel has now made available its new Intel NUC which comes equipped with a Celeron J3455 Apollo Lake processor supported by 2GB of RAM together with 32GB of eMMC storage, and preloaded with Microsoft’s Windows 10 Home operating system.
The Intel NUC mini desktop PC is capable of supporting up to 8GB of RAM, and there’s a 2.5 inch drive bay for an additional hard drive or solid state drive and is now available to purchase from the likes of Amazon priced at $232.
Other features of the latest Intel NUC Mini PC include 7.1 channel audio, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, an Ethernet jack, HDMI 2.0 and VGA ports, a 3.5mm headset jack, an SDXC card slot, and four USB ports.
Intel is also currently in the process of creating more powerful NUC mini PCs which will feature Kaby Lake processors and will start being made available before the end of January 2017 equipped with an Intel Core i3 processor.
