Intel has this week launched their new Intel MICA smartband or My Intelligent Communications Accessory (MICA) that was unveiled earlier this year.
The Intel MICA smart bracelet is as much a fashion statement as it it a smart wearable and is finished with 18K gold coating and equipped with a curved sapphire glass touchscreen display.
The Intel MICA smart band has been created to enable users to view messages, calendar events, and alerts from a curated VIP contacts list directly on your wrist.
Features of the Intel MICA smart band include Intelligent reminders powered by TomTom, that alert you when it’s time to leave for your next appointment, as well as discrete messaging, calendar, and event vibration-based notifications on their wrist. Intel explains a little more :
“MICA is connected by AT&T’s mobile broadband network and includes two years of wireless service with the device purchase. Crafted from premium finishes, 18k gold coating and a curved sapphire glass touchscreen display.
One style features black water snake skin, pearls from China, and lapis stones from Madagascar, while the other style features white water snake skin, tiger’s eye from South Africa, and obsidian from Russia.”
