Instgram the free photo sharing application for iPhone and iOS devices, developed by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger has just been updated to version 2.0. The new version brings plenty of new features to the popular iOS photo sharing application including a rework of the code to make the application 200 times faster.
You also now have the option to either select the filter before or after you snap your shot. Together with four new filters as pictured below and instant tilt-shift allowing you to select blur 100 times faster than before, with pan, rotate tilt-shift features to give your photos unparalleled depth of field using a live preview mode.
Instagram has also added one of the most requested features by users, which was to add high resolution photos. Well they are now 10 times larger than in the previous version and you can add borders as an optional extra if desired.
Instagram 2.0 is supported on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch (3rd & 4th generations), iPad 2 and iPad and the new version is now available to download from the iTunes App Store for free.
