Icon makes some of the coolest off-road vehicles ever and one of its new rides is called the BR. The vehicle looks like an old Ford Bronco on the outside (because it is) and underneath it has tech that Ford didn’t offer. The car has a fuel injected 426/402 TRQ alloy V8 engine backed with a 5-speed manual transmission.
An Atlas II part-time transfer case with a crawl ratio of 87:1 and Dynatrac/Dana 60/44 axles are part of the package. Brakes are vented and slotted discs and the BR rides on 12″ travel coil suspension with front and rear sway bars. The body is an actual restored vintage Bronco body.
Buyers can choose matte or glossy colors with stainless steel body hardware. An automatic transmission is optional along with a Brembo brake package and ARB locking diffs. Multiple top and door configurations are offered along with audio packages and lots of other options. Pricing is tipped to start at $195,000.
