The gaming division of Kingston Technology, HyperX has unveiled its first standalone microphone design in the form of the HyperX Quadcast which has been specifically designed for gamers and streaming applications. The new stand-alone microphone supports both consoles PC and Mac systems and comes complete with a 3 m cable, headphone jack connection and anti vibration shock mount.
Other features of the stand-alone microphone include four selectable polar patterns to capture audio from different angles, tap-to-mute functionality, and LED lighting to show broadcast status. “The HyperX Quadcast is a standalone microphone designed to meet the exacting demands of PC, PlayStation 4, and Mac professional or aspiring streamers. The QuadCast features an anti-vibration shock mount, an easily-accessible gain control adjustment, four selectable polar patterns, and tap-to-mute functionality with convenient LED lighting to indicate broadcast status. With crystal clear voice capturing, Quadcast connects streamers to their viewers like never before.”

The HyperX Quadcast Standalone Microphone will be available to purchase during March 2019 and will be priced at around $140.
