The ban against Huawei in the US was due to come into place soon, now the US has delayed the ban again for 90 days.
This means that the company has been given a reprieve in the US, the company has been given an extended ‘temporary general license for 90 days.
The agreement was due to laps today, the 19th of August but the extension will take take it up until the 19th of November.
The ban of Huawei in the US is being used as a bargaining chip in the trader negotiations between China and the US, the US is due to impose tariffs on Chinese goods imported into the US this will affect things line Apple’s iPhone.
It will be interesting to see if China and the US come to an agreement before the ban on Huawei comes into place.
